Airbag light won't go off after flat battery!

Not used car for a while just before needing to MOT. When went to start had flat battery so jump started from jump pack and now my airbag light won't go out. Been on a good run so shouldn't be low voltage. Had the fault code read and says power supply issue. Comes on again when reset.

Any ideas. Is the flat battery coincidence to another fault?

Is there any fuses for airbags?

could be the battery, now its up to charge, dis-connect it for a while and see if that resets the light..

Tried disconnecting the earth already. Is there a secret trick reset or will disconnecting earth suffice?

I'm sure because it's a safety related item, it has to be reset by dealer (or garage that has equipment)

I used to have an old Disco td300. One I disturbed the fuse that controlled the airbags. The light was permanently on afterwards, I was told that it had to be reset by LR. I didn't bother as it wasn't an MOT item then.

Now it is included in the MOT I believe. Have you checked the sensors under the seats? My light very occasionally comes on, but only when I have a passenger. If I get them to juggle about the light goes off. Maybe you have a dodgy sensor. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE

Thanks all. Daveo= great offer and if closer would take you up on it. The garage that read it had a universal diagnostic equipment and this wouldn't reset it. He tried and fault came back.

Pretty sure no wires disturbed and must be related to flat battery.

Guess its a trip to LR.

Didn't fail the MOT though (on this at least!)

if you have had it reset and it has came back on then you must have a faulty bag...did his system not tell you what air bag was faulty or module, V8 facelift Range Rover Autobiography 22" wheels.

My airbag warning lamp required the intervention of LR engineering to extinguish it, fingers crossed yours will be easier to sort out.

Diagnostic system just said low power but nothing else. Think its a case of having it reset at a specialists.

Had it looked at by another Land rover indy today with an 'Autologic system'. Does anyone know if this should reset it? It kept coming up with 'Battery Diconect unit' and when cleared just came back.

He's making a few calls to his tech people, but i wonder if this system is not faultmate , rover all coms or main dealer as previously suggested will it not turn it off??

He's adamant it should reset it which confuses me?!

Anyone heard of 'battery disconect unit'?
