Think your dealer is talking through a hole in his arse , regardless of US or EUROPEAN model all the coding and such is the same more or less … |

if its a US spec range then you will not get a dealer to lift the restriction...on european ranges , you can get a dealer to switch nav on the move on ... ... - .- -.

Ah well i stand corrected ….. I was also told that the US models can have the amber and rear red strips activated that are on the front and back lights |

teh 'nav on the move' can probably done with a faultmate as this machine can change the lights from US/canada/sweden/european to whichever one you want, so nav on the move would be easily done..

one way around this restriction is to put all your destinations as 'recent destination'...this can be accessed and entered on the move.. ... - .- -.

i agree with Mick that this should be able to be done. all the cars are made in the same factory and the only difference is the coding. i have had a bit to do with coding on other cars and all it takes is a last digit of a 1 or 0 to be the differnce between a euro spec function or an american one.

I was at the LR dealer and got the car back with no on the move ...... There say, it is not possible for the 2006 Modell, the software will not aceppt the change. Do you have any idears ? Thanks |

it has the 2010 EUROPA map DVD. Hi says it can not be updated because it is a 2006 an the VIN do not allow to do it. |
