possibly, then the only answer would be someone with a multi-license faultmate, which is going to be pretty difficult to find.. ... - .- -.

Think your dealer is talking through a hole in his arse , regardless of US or EUROPEAN model all the coding and such is the same more or less …

if its a US spec range then you will not get a dealer to lift the restriction...on european ranges , you can get a dealer to switch nav on the move on ... ... - .- -.

teh 'nav on the move' can probably done with a faultmate as this machine can change the lights from US/canada/sweden/european to whichever one you want, so nav on the move would be easily done..

same with the amber strips mick ,if there's bulbs in them sockets.. ... - .- -.

one way around this restriction is to put all your destinations as 'recent destination'...this can be accessed and entered on the move.. ... - .- -.

i agree with Mick that this should be able to be done. all the cars are made in the same factory and the only difference is the coding. i have had a bit to do with coding on other cars and all it takes is a last digit of a 1 or 0 to be the differnce between a euro spec function or an american one.

please someone correct me if i am wrong though. Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Do you have the latest nav disk?

IIRC you need the latest nav disk which updates the nav units fiirmware, then your dealer can activate nav on the move.

Edited to fix typos - I really should not attempt to post from using my iPhone.
