It would depend on budget, if I was restricted I would buy a late 4.4, if not I would go for the new model, probably. Difficult to say for sure until we see it! Range Rover-less at the moment - Pining! |

Providing they do manage to launch the new one late next year, I reckon there will indeed be some bargains to grab of late L322's.

I would avoid any new Land Rover product like the plague for 1-2 Model Years for them to iron out issues.

Fell in that trap with BMW 3 Series convertible (the latest model). Vehicle 200 off the line and every time you got in the back a piece of rubber trip would literally rip off if you brushed the pillar. No problem, just pop it back on? Nope, it snapped the clip EVERY TIME. Sorted out for 2008MY but there we go...

Nope...when the car was designed I doubt BMW even considered the amount of electrics and systems that would be in the car today. One battery to do everything, which is what causes the problem. Couple this with the large amount of charge a Diesel takes to start, that's when you have the problems. The car has also probably gone way beyond its initial lifespan.

My thinking too. Always avoid new LR products in the first year of manufacture. Unless you like to roll the dice and possibly end up as a guinea pig returning to the dealer... Get an L405 in 2013/2014. ![]() |
