I would avoid any new Land Rover product like the plague for 1-2 Model Years for them to iron out issues.

+2 for several reasons - The existing model in it's later guises is a very solid product now the battery issues have been resolved and it's a 'proper' Range Rover. The Evoque in time should prove to be worthy of the name, but the Sport was a brand cannibalisation exercise. Given the excessive styling influences in the Evoque and recently released impressions of the next gen Defender, the 'classic' design of the L322 may prove very tempting. Most of us love the toys and general evolution of the late model L322's which have a strong relationship to their predessors, but will the dame be true of the L405?

It's relatively academic to me in the short term, I'm 3 weeks in love with a 2006 SC and can't afford a new one, but I'll be ready to buy a good 2nd hand one in a few years as a replacement, so please choose carefully if your buying a new one for me! Embarassed 2006 Supercharged
