Many thanks for the offer, PM on its way. It's a shame LR don't have a central database of whats been serviced where... The kind lady on the phone advised me that I should ring all the dealers in the area to find out who has serviced it |

dan , i rang 'th whites' at swindon and asked if there were any outstanding warranty work on mine and they confirmed there wasnt...now that is warranty not service so i assume , as others have , that you need to go to the lr dealer that did the service work..these details should be in the service book.. |

What service book? The car came from Saxtons, the previous owner says they said they would fwd it to him and never did. It doesnt bother me too much. LR services are a bit of a joke anyway. I just fancied having the service history to increase the resale value, as other people arent as gung-ho as me! |

i agree, the service that you get is not always what you pay for... a well looked after car by the owner is worth much more... |

Interesting, I took mine into Hunters of Brock (Main Dealer) to have the suspension height re-calibrated and they were happy to confirm the Service history and all the warranty work that had been done on the car although none of it had been done by them. They also confirmed no outstanding recalls on the car.

Yeah, and sometimes; RE: Sytner Group, when you look at a car that was a one user car owned by a guy in Sconny Botland, and you buy it from Guy Salmon in Leeds (now Farnell) Mysteriously all of the service stamps are from Guy Salmon Leeds!
