I feel slightly stupid asking this question, so feel free to flame me. I did search, but no posts seemed relevant (except the post that MICK will no doubt dig up and post in 30 seconds time whilst waiving an accusatory finger at me!)

Yes, follow the herd . Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember Volvo V70 P2 2006 2.4 Petrol 170bhp Estate SE MG Midget Mk1 1962 Previous: L322 Range Rover TDV8 3.6 2008; L322 Range Rover TD6 3.0 2002; P38A Range Rover V8 1999 |

Dan, I believe the bt module will only save and subsequently auto connect to a limited number of devices (8 from memory). Once you've connected eight units then it's 'memory' is full and no more will auto connect. You can't delete phones from the bt module and the only way I know of to get it working correctly is to replace, and presumably update at the same time, the bt module.

Not at all , i remember when i had the FFRR TD6 and i used a Nokia N80 (i think) the phone connected straight away as soon as i went into the car , but when i got the SC i had to connect it manually all the time via pairing , and it has been the same with the last nine or so phones including the i-phone also it won't transfer the phonebook across via bluetooth. So i just use the phone in the cradle with a Nokia 6230 IIRC and if someone calls me on the iPhone i just get it to divert to the Nokia in the car. I'm sure Wiggs has stuff that can over ride your problem ==================================== "Open Mike Night " sounded like a lot of fun until i found out i was going to an Autopsy |

I've got an Android (HTC Desire) phone and I got an exchange BT module off Wiggs. I pretty much get full functionality over bluetooth, except for sending and receiving texts.

Mine had a BT module in (2007 model) but it was unreliable and I had pairing problems and it didn't transfer the phone book or the call records, I can't say what works and what doesn't. However if you can borrow one they are only a two minute job to swap and test. Geoff |
