I have some similar bubbles under the plastic trim that surrounds the windows. unsure if I can get rid of them.

I wonder if it's had a dodgey repair there in the past? The paint looks a bit un-even, it's not unheard of for damage to occur in the factory/delivery and be patched up prior to going on sale. |

Mine had this when I bought it, plus some rust at the top where it meets the D post cover. My body shop mate stripped it back and found it was due to a poor quality repair at some point in its past.

is this the trim at the 'top' of the door (below the glass?) if so i've got 'bubbling' underneath three of the windows its basically a plastic/rubber sleeve over a metal 'core' - so moisture gets underneath and it rusts from the inside - appearing as bubbles i am replacing all mine - cost £126 from Yeovil Land Rover (recommended on here for discount parts) |

I was thinking that the vast majority of RR panels were aluminium and so not easily rust prone ,so are the rear panels just 'standard' metal then? Steve

The rust burst through at the weekend, so will have to see to it now .
