Hmmm….my main 12v is under the boot floor and the auxiliary is behind the right side panel further forwards (closer to the seat backs). Perhaps yanking isn’t the right method for my car? 2018 P400e AB LWB

Ummmm, I do mine the other way, it’s easy to get your fingers up inside that vent/grille thingy & pull down & out, there are 3 clips along the top edge, see WM manual:

Try to pull close to where the clips are, so as not to do any damage, they do take a fair heave, try not to worry about it.

I wish I had bought an Exide battery - I bought a Bosch battery for my auxiliary battery, as it has a longer warranty, but the breather pipe location interferes with the bracket, which is really annoying.

When I replaced my battery. I drilled a hole in the clamp bar. Shown on page 4 of this thread.

I was not happy at first but when I next need to replace the battery. I am not limited. SDV8 AB MY 2020
