So, this is gonna be a bit random… on the 10th year with my L322 and I still love it, but time moves on and I like to have a bit of a plan what to do next, so thinking out loud…..

Def want to stay V8, but given I’ve done only 6000 miles since the start of 2020 I’m thinking a 5.0 Supercharged might be the way to go. Also considering an RRS (I know, wash my mouth out 🤣) but I like the look of them and might be more suited to that engine, though I’ve never been in an L405 or an L494. I was never too keen on the black pack with black wheels etc, but in another twist, I think I quite like it, depending on colour.

There is an advert come up on FB for an LR specialist in Lincolnshire and whilst it’s for servicing and repairs etc, not sales, they have the below pic and I think the outside colour combo looks really good…

Absolutely loved my L320 RRS 3.6 TDV8. It was a 2010 and really nice inside.

I agree though on the 5.0 SC in a RRS, a sportier engine in a sportier car.

Can’t be doing with black wheels on any car. Silver looks much classier and less gangsta.

Love my L322 even more than the L330 though and would only go back if I was getting one for SWMBO.

I vote for L405 5.0 S/C

Thanks Pete…. And next door has a 2015 3.0 RRS and said the same so at least that’s an option to look at both without any commitment. Plus I’m thinking there will come a time when there are no big gas guzzling V8’s allowed so having one now might be a good idea.

Keep fancying RS4 or RS6, but I fancied those when I bought the 4.4 so guess I like RR too much.

Not ruled out an SDV8 but due to low miles I do now….

I see Audi do a V12 diesel, but fairly rare…
