TPMS - new TPM Sensors Fitted & NOT WORKING

.

Guys

who knows thsi one ...

Range Rover L405
5.0l Supercharged
2016 - milage 118,000+

All 4 tyres have just had new Land Rover TPM fitted

4x O/E LR TPM units fitted - 433mhz spec TPMS

New x4 Tyres also fitted

Part number: LR070840 J38AA - OE Jaguar Land Rover

Nicely fitted in alloys - 8 Nm tightened up

each sensor had a code ( 8 digit code ) which has been imput into the Snap on tool via the port

even put a TPM tool Reader on each wheel to check READ the codes ( see pic )

The cars been driven at 70mph motorway for 40 mins
reset Everything via Snap On Diagnostic Tool

still got the AMBER warning lights on to say the TPM system is at fault
x2 Amber lights

THERE NOTHING on the LR Display to reset the TPM system - just gives options on settings PSI and loads ?

now it came on to start with hence why I changed all the senors

I have even pumped the tyres up past the correct pressures then deflated fast to zero - then to correct pressures?

Snap on diagnostic tool says NO faults else where ?

so whats doing on ?

Have you checked the Mhz they use?

Here is some info in the end of the description:

https://www.powerfuluk.com/collections/l40...er-l405-oe

You can find out the frequency of your lock remote in the tech specification, or the inside of you keys.

Just a tip. Sorry if it was evident for you.

I'd try a different diagnostic tool, a lot of the generics that claim to do everything don't work 100%. Current

Hi tomiRR & andygts

Appricated you guys coming back to us.

Points taken - our Snap on tool is the top of the range
shows everything re: Brakes TPM specs required and yes they are 433MHz

ALWAYS disconnect the Negative battery lead followed by the Positive.[/b]

Then reconnect the Negative and LEAVE to Drain the Gremlins away

Remember / IMPORTANT

when Re-Connecting car battery:

POSITIVE FIRST

follwed by

NEGATIVE LAST

cheers

Oi! I resemble that remark! Evil or Very Mad

I have no desire whatever to be “drained away” thank you very much! Twisted Evil Laughing “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

TPMS - Fault .............

.

FORGET EVERYTHING YOU HAVE READ from my previous post ......

Its BACK.............. NOT WORKING ........Again, Again & Again ...

The car now after 1 week says NO TPMS are present - they have vansihed !
remeber these x4 TPMS senors were purchased from LR direct - 433 Mhz types

points to note:

1) Main car battey is 100% & mint - reads 13.2V even when just opened and all ECU's come alive ( car stood over night in -3c )

2) with Engine stone cold - NOT running - on the main dash menu with TPMS information displayed - ZERO pressures - they are blank ?

3) Yesterday ran the car on motorway with Snap on Tool plugged in to see is the ABS senors were working on all 4 wheels - YES the are withd NO Faults - clearly showed each monitor reading 70MPH on the motorway for 30+ miles
so Wheel senors are clearly working

[img]https://www.fullfatrr.com/gallery/albums/userpics/15512/normal_IMG_3873-30~2.jpg[/img

So basically - TPMS are brand new from Jauguar Landrover £500 set of 4

Fitted inside each wheel - spot on

Driven for 80 miles on Motorway - at 70MPH ( honest ) - to wake these up - LR Workshop manula says 10 minutes at 50 MPH to come out of transit sleep mode

So can anyone solve this problem.
