leak off test done and less than 10ml per injector while cranking quite a few times with metering tubes fitted.

yes injectors... i work a lot on petrol engines and have go to words, i suppose. I'm old and the brain doesn't work like it used to. |

Had a similar issue with my early (2002) 4.4 M62 V8 Petrol L322.

The ineria switch stops the fuel pumping and this one has a healthy flow of fuel |

I had similar issue on my otherwise reliable 2004 TD6, just would not start. ran on ezy start, or wd40, 1st time starting. went back to basics. solved it.
