I would be very careful with this, if you have paid in full then it's your vehicle and as such it is your responsibility to insure it no matter what. A lot of dealer policies will pay if the vehicle is insured elsewhere, a lot of the time, no insurance in place and they will not pay.... I know you can claim from them but the time and money would be vast... get a letter from them stating they are responsible for insurance while you are chasing up other avenues.... Irrespective of what they do, the Range Rover needs insurance.... check they are covering this as if it is damaged, stolen etc you might not get any money.... Pete

I'd imagine that as the car is in their care, it would be covered by the dealer insurance, if not it would be covered by my insurance but as I understand it, car's should usually be covered by the dealership if it's in their care. |

It was a question based on if they wanted to retain the vehicle and whether I could try and claim back a months insurance for a car that's not even in my possession yet.
