I would like to know too as I cannot see them either, are they visible when the roof is fully open? |

Yes you can, open the sunroof fully stand on centre console and look down into channel between sunroof and body about 1inch behind line of sunroof when opened, you can pop the trim off and its very visible, you might need a torch depending on light. I wonder actually if you could seal them up and let gravity do the rest when you drive off?

I’ve really struggled to find and test the sunroof drain holes - couldn’t see any photos anywhere online which helped. Plenty of video and photo stuff of rusted away pipes further in the car.

Holey Moley I soo wanted a sliding pano roof when I went looking for my RR. I was a little disapoointed when I went with a fixed one on a vogue but as Gremlin says there's already way to much to worry about without two tiny holes ruining your day |

To be honest the fixed roof is the best option, I never use the sliding roof anyway. 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue |

I’ve not purchased one of these as I don’t have a sunroof, but at the price it seems worth checking out?

Hello, I tried this today. Where are and how many clips on tbe black trim strip? I didn't get it to start to unclip. In the workshop manual I also couldn't find this trim strip. SDV8 AB MY 2020

You are right, it is hard to access the draining holes. I have one of those drainage tools bought from China, but made of nylon, and it was very dangerous to use (before knowing about the trim trick), the angle that is forced by the sunroof upon the tool almost made the brush dislodge from the nylon wire! I will remove the brush completely (the end is rather pointy) and try just with the nylon part of the drainage tool. For now, pouring water shows that the drains work on both sides... |
