Head Unit - no power

Visiting mother for Christmas, I thought I’d check her L322 over for pre-mot purposes.
It lives on Skye and is used seldomly so needless to say the battery was flat so job one was charging via the victron charger.

Got it running but noticed the Head Unit was not switching on, no power to it and the gap IID revealed lots of canbus related/flat battery type codes which cleared leaving just one:

The L322 is a 2010 3.6tdv8 so has the digital dash and updated head unit.

I’ve checked fuses 64 and 68 in the fuse box behind the dash (not easy with tiny fuses and apertures sized hands), they are both good.

Anywhere else I should be checking?

Thanks, Jon 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg

As an update, the battery is kaput. It’s a Bosch S5 013 that the local garage supplied and has been depleted through being left unused for long periods so lots of codes, bings and bongs.
However, it doesn’t explain the lack of power to the screen. 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg

Checked the fuses in the rear 1/4 and also the other rear 1/4 for signs of ingress of water. Thankfully bone dry back there.
Back to checking fuses behind the glove box, not made easy for the location of the small fuses and the ever so slightly too small aperture.

The car has been plugged into the charger to provide the voltage, it starts up fine and the alternator is giving 14 + V so happy with the charging.

Assuming it’s all down to battery condition now.

Maybe the hard reset is worth a try? 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg

indeed the first place to start is the battery..power sockets and head units can sometimes not power up because of low voltage.. ... - .- -.

Thanks Stan, the battery has recharged, got it to hold 12.5 steady when the car isn’t running and 14.2 charging when running. Not to say its not weakened but just surprised even with the charger attached the head unit wont fire up, no life at all from it.

I think all the codes now are pointing back to ABS control no signal aside from suspension rear left which isn’t showing any voltage. I’ll dig out the overalls to explore that one. 2002 L322 4.4V8 - G4 Challenge Car - Australia leg
