Small break fluid leak - Can I drive the car?

My garage highlighted rusty brake lines last week and I'm pending to get into the shop to fix this in 3 weeks. Got an alert of low brake fluid yesterday evening and this evening I found this small spot under the front left side.

Can I top up with DOT 4 and keep driving until I'm going to the garage?

Car is 4.2 supercharger.

Is it that bad? Can the line burst?

My plan was to drive and purchase brake fluid and I'll need to drive the car to the garage for the fix. 2009 L322 4.2 Supercharged

If you're finding brake fluid under the car and noticable loss from the reservoir, the pipes have rusted badly & could suddenly lose all pressure if the brakes are pressed hard in an emergency.
Only rust is preventing significant fluid loss / total loss of braking !

I recently was annoyed that my local MOT tester failed my car because of rusty brake pipes.
I had looked at them & they didn't look bad where I could see them.
However, when I bent the pipes slightly while replacing them, 1 broke totally & I had to accept they were much worse than I realised !
Replacing them was a painful job - but the new pipes will outlast the car . Paul,

Hi, I had a slight leak noticed the day before the RR was due its MOT last year, it actually burst when they did the test. It’s just not worth taking the chance especially when you consider the size and weight of these cars.

When I bought my first car my Dad gave me a piece of advice, he said ‘keep your windows and mirrors clean and never skimp on your brakes’, I’ve followed that advice all of my driving life. If you have any doubts about doing your brakes lines now just look at your family. It really is that serious given how badly yours are leaking, I would even go so far as to say have it trailered or recovered to the workshop. ______________________________

Yeah don’t drive it sir… Too many of these burst during testing so if that don’t tell you it’s not a great idea to drive it! Nothing will!!!

Can't believe your asking the question. More so that your waiting 3 weeks to get it fixed Censored
We all know your going to drive it, your just asking the question hoping you can absolve yourself of blame should the worst happen.
Glad your in Sweden, so I won't find myself in front of you or coming towards me

I wouldn’t drive for the sake of yourself and every other road user and pedestrian.

I recently put an Alfa 156 through its MOT and the front OS brake flexi pipe burst during the test. Literally all braking power was lost and due to the garages inability to repair I had to drive it home. Luckily I live 1/2 mile from the garage and only use one 30 mph road. I drove home at 20 mph with my hazards flashing.

Looking back I realise I shouldn’t have driven the car and only did so as was told to take it easy on the way home. The car will not move off my driveway until the brake pipes are all checked and all flexi pipes are replaced. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Santorini black ivory leather

I got a full blown burst - scary - limped to Indie using handbrake only - very scary and dangerous. Geoff

One word, DON'T!

Also bear in mind that if you did drive it and the brakes failed and you had a crash, your insurance would be very unlikely to pay out AND you could be prosecuted for driving a car unfit for the road.

Hi all!
Have now got the brake lines replaced and both rear brake hoses by a non indy LR shop. However, when driving it back home I've noticed that the brakes pedal takes at a much lower position than before. What's the symptoms / reason for this? 2009 L322 4.2 Supercharged

It may be they haven't bled it properly. Is it spongy or soft? 2017 4.4 SDV8 Autobiography in black
