United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Hi all another new cult member,

Saw my first RR about 1970 when I was 10 years old and have wanted one ever since. Bought my first one last year, 2009 3.6 TDV8 I've now moved on to a 2011 4.4 TDV8, it's a lovely thing to drive, no doubt I shall be picking your brains at some point in the future and you never know, even with my very limited knowledge of mechanics, I may be able to put something back in Laughing

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Orkney Grey

Hi Dave here.
Back to the fold with a 2012 L322 4.4 Diesel V8 Westminster in Orkney Grey.
Bought from a friend who has owned it for the last 7 years and had looked after it very well. This is my 4th RR after parting with my much beloved Volvo XC70 so I know what I am getting into šŸ˜‚ Only had one little issue so far. Set off for Sunday lunch out with family, the suspension started playing up and after a couple of warning messages I ended up on the bump stops. Not a very pleasant ride! Had a look round when I got back. Front Offside height sensor arm had become detached from the lower arm. Two tie wraps later a temporary repair was done and all is well with the world again šŸ„° Just need to investigate on how it should connect and fix it properly!
Happy Motoring folks šŸ‘

New here

Just decided I want my first RR - looking at getting a new P550e AWB Autobiography

Was going to wait for the full electric version, but decided not to.

Currently have a 2017 Tesla Model X 100D that I've had from new.

New member!

Hello everybodyā€¦
Just taken the plunge and purchased a 2021 Vogue P400, despite telling myself never again.

Previous RR history:

1990 RR Vogue 3.6 (I think) which was my company car driving around Bosnia building camps for the IFOR forces in ā€˜94. Indestructible, and believe me I tried.

Had a multiple series of Audis in the ā€œgapā€ years.

But thenā€¦
2005: LR3 Disco petrol V8 bought in Bahrain but shipped back to the UK, sold because it simply didnā€™t have the range to get between meetings without filling up;
2021: 2016 RR Autobiography 4.4V8 - rejected back to main dealer as constant Oil Dilution problems
2022: 2021 RR Sport P400e - 2L not enough to drag a 300kg battery and a two tonne car, plus total electrical failure that left me stranded, which then righted itself 24 hours later. FFS

And now another. Bought from independent dealer, sight unseen as Iā€™m overseas on business for a while, picking it up at the end of the month. Letā€™s see how it goes Laughing Like I said, swore not to have another, but then again I said I wouldnā€™t fly BA ever againā€¦

Some excellent top tips on this site already so thanks all.

Iā€™ll report back once Iā€™ve driven it a bit.

New member & Owner

Hi all,

A quick introduction for me and my new RR. Iā€™m picking up my 2 owner 2011 4.4 TDv8 autobiography on Friday. Iā€™ve always wanted one of these but have opted for other German makes and models. I needed a car that will be used as a weekend car and one I can take to Europe a couple of times a year, what better way to travel the a RR !

Really looking forward to getting it a scratching an itch Iā€™ve had for a very long time!

Thought I'd join this group to maybe help ease the impending doom I've just signed up for. This is not my 4th landrover , two of them have been the full fat version.

Hi everyone Iā€™ve been a bmw & ford fan forever.
Purchased my first Rover 5 years ago.
Itā€™s a 2005 HSE with the Beamer 4.4 engine
and ford electronics.
Itā€™s been quite an adventure owning this truck but I still love it.
Lots of great info in these forums and knowledgeable members so I figured I should join.
Cheers from the great white north.

Scotland 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

New member in Fife, Scotland with my first RR V8TD VOGUE SE in Buckingham blue.
Picked it up from a guy in London and after 30miles on the M40 it went into limp mode due to DPF full message. Suspect the seller had just been deleting messages during his ownership. Local trusted mechanic here has gotten the soot level down from 67g to 4g and now it is regening Bow down He suspects it was a twisted pipe connecting into the DPF. List of other things to do, but owning one of these is an itch I always wanted to scratch, so happy days Cool

Newbie

Hi all, after a few years of having no green oval on the drive Iā€™ve finally given up and got a TDV8 4.4 FFRR. Hereā€™s my beast with my old freel2 that i sold to a friend. Looking forward to enjoying a few road trips with it and maybe going for the overlander look.
