After about 12 months of total
indecisiveness I have returned to a FFRR. L405 D300 in Portofino Blue. Its been a while as my last (and only) FFRR was a 1990 3.9V8 vogue with a manual gearbox, also blue that I ran from 1996 until 2000.
Enjoying the site and hope I can contribute rather than just ask questions in the future.

have loved RR since my first A Vogue 1987 Cassis red 3.5 EFI with a Jan-Speed turbo and handling kit travelled all over Europe devastated when I sold it. I live in MK the land of roundabouts but with the anti- roll bars, Spax Gas coil-overs it loved the corners. L405 AB 2013 4.4

Just joined as I've decided to move from my 2016 Disco 4. Still a great car but looking for something more comfortable for long journeys.

I'm considering either an L405 or an L460 if I can find one for a decent price.

After wanting an L322 for some time I’ve just picked up a 4.2 in need of some love. Seems to be pretty sweet mechanically (when it decides not to stay in 3rd gear), but definitely rough around the edges.

At £900 I’m pretty sure it’s the cheapest running and driving supercharged in the UK, maybe ever. MOT is just out but the history is surprisingly clean.

Quick google of the reg shows an early (first?) owner was Sarah Harding of Girls Aloud. Lots of photos of her in it, a few articles about the car getting vandalised, and also being driven the wrong way down a one way and crashed into a bus.

I am new to the forum, but already found it useful as have a Restricted performance indicator on my SDV8 L405 due to Exhaust Temp Sensor problems on Bank 1 sensor 3. So far all been very helpful. Thankyou for sharing your experiences.
