After looking and thinking about it. I am going to see if I can find the loom plugs so I can create 2 tap-in looms. That means I won’t cut any of the wiring on the car. And it will be easy to remove.

I plan to cut out the panel so the light will be flush. Depending on the connector, I can always disconnect it and replace the panel. It will then be back to normal.
