Heater not blowing warm SDV8 Autobiography

Hi, Not sure how long this has bee going on as I only noticed it the other night when it was starting to get cold but my heater is not getting very warm
It doesn't really get hot anywhere but the rear seems warmer than the front

I have check the little sensor near the steering wheel and that is clear and I have searched a few threads on here and it was looking like the diverter valve but I have changed that this afternoon and it is still the same

Anybody have any other ideas of relatively straight forward checks I can make please?

My understanding of the diverter valve is that both the front and rear heat circuits are affected equally by the valve.

So if you were getting no heat ... then maybe the valve.

If you're getting a difference in heat between the front and rear, then that would imply the front or rear loop issues.

Is the coolant at the right level ? V8 or else ...

Hi, There is only a slight difference it temperature, the back isn't hot it just seems to feel a little warmer than the front

Yes, the coolant is correct, however it had dropped down a few weeks ago. Could that have anything to do with it and if so what would the fix be?

Thanks

I'd say the coolant is quite sensitive to its level and has a lot of pipe work with high and low points and if you've topped it up, it might need a bit of a re-bleed if there is air pockets. ( not the hardest of processes ).

How much had it dropped for you to top it up ? V8 or else ...

It was quite a bit below the min, the low coolant light warning came on

Is there any video's showing how to bleed the system?

I have tried to follow the manual but I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly or if I have an issue. How long should I wait for fluid to start coming out of the bleed valve for instance

If anyone has a bit of a walkthrough or preferable a video I would really appreciate it

Also, which coolant do I need to top this up?

My low coolant keeps coming on since I started doing this which I suspect may be because it is diluted to much now
