That's exactly how I found out, being in the valleys full of hills. Put handbrake on a steeple hill junction, forgot I put it on as I was there a fair bit and accelerated to pull out and it moved off with no bong. So I tried the same again at some lights and thought what a result. |

I like to take it off manually, just me….. the car has a feature where if you come off the foot brake it holds pressure for a bit so you can get on the throttle without rolling back. That’s separate to the hand brake, but that prob does a similar thing to. Some clever stuff going on, most of which is probably to assist off roading.
