Thanks. Mine is at a specialist too. The inlet manifold is a few hundred cheaper with yours. I’ve not seen it that cheap, even online. You did well there.

If that gasket is for the inlet manifold then it won't be required as the manifold will already have a gasket. |

Well, the garage have still not started work on the RR as the inlet manifold is on back order. They are hoping it comes in tomorrow……

I had the inlet manifold replaced on mine a couple of months ago at Rangers in Guildford - £1400 inc VAT. |

That’s a good price. I’m having other bits done too, so it’s gonna be a hefty bill, but at least it will be sorted.

Gonna be a tricky one. If I got an L405 it would have to have the reference hifi and then I saw you could also get it in the Sport, which I’m not sure if I prefer the look of, especially in some colours….

Thinking about it, get the bodywork done and then get a full professional valeting, paint correction etc and it will be like having a new car, keep you going another few years.... Pete

You need to have a good test drive in the Sport if you go that route. I always get back pain driving or passenger in those. Not as comfortable as your current car. |
