Easy Access and electronic steering column adjustment

Hi all.

New to the forum and have looked for these issues on previous threads and haven’t seen anything.
I have a 2018 L405 Autobiography.
My seats are set to easy access and steering column to auto and nothing moves on entering or exiting the car.

Also when I move the steering column the column only moves in short bursts even if I hold the toggle lever in any position. I have to keep going from centre to move to get the wheel to move any further than a short distance.

Not sure if I’m missing something.

Probably needs a fault code clearing, or a battery reset? Sounds like the ECU is in distress... Thumbs Up

Did you manage to find a solution to this problem? I am having the same issue, no fault codes through IIDTool.

Same here. Although I do get a code that suggests there is missing calibration data for the steering column. No idea how to calibrate it though, maybe there’s a procedure like the windows? My Previous RR's!

Reporting back - main dealer cleared some codes and calibrated the column motor and now working in the appropriate fashion.

I had exactly the issue and resolved it using my iCarSoft LR V3 tool by using the SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) program to recalibrate it, took about 2 minutes! Thumbs Up
I suspect any tool that offers the SAS functionality will do the same. Wink _______________________________________________
