If it is anything like mine, ( 2006 ) what you need are spire nuts and self tapping type screws.

If you are not sure what I mean, the link below shows the spire nut design, ( as an example )lot's of sizes, plentiful and cheap to buy. Stainless steel ones are best, especially for the under side of a car.

Apologies for resurecting this old thread, but did you ever find what the part number was for the under tray fasteners ?

Mine are spire screws, 10mm hex head, 23mm thread length, 6mm outer diameter.

The only ones I've found are all too short, I'd rather have the real thing before trying to find an alternative.

No problem- replace the whole set to nice stainless ones. Makes a neat job of it.

Andrew.

I use these, not stainless but pretty much exact copy of originals:

https://www.diycarserviceparts.co.uk/metal...36616.html

They also do the 8mm type used in areas such as wheel arch liners. Grease them fully and they should be fine for a few years. Both types incorporate a retained washer as per original. Current: 2003 TD6 HSE. 161,000 miles

Thanks, I've gone for the stainless ones as on close inspection the spring clips are corred badly so replace the lot I think in one go.
