can the rear glass seal fail ? |

There’s a possibility it’s coming from the usual culprit, the rear upper door seal and tracking down between the body panels. I had that, albeit on the other side, many years ago cured by replacing the upper door seal.

Think I may have found the source of my slight leak into the rear right battery area.

Once cleaned up I’d be inclined to use windscreen mastic as it’s slightly flexible when fully cured.

Just checked mine after a day and night of rain and there were a few drops on the plastic 'raincoat' I fitted but still non the wiser where it comes from. Main thing is the electronics under it were dry. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

I’ve had slight intrusion of water into the wheel well, my local indie insisted it was the rear boot seal but I wasn’t convinced.
