I did it with someone to put a foot on the brake. Not difficult if you have a torque wrench that exceeds the value. Knocking the lock tabs in is awkward but doable. Kevin

Ah got the parking brake all installed and working

It jammed a few times when attempting it.

The unjam procedure from gap didn't unjam it to the point it worked

In the end I more or less pulled on the cable end while running on the unjam procedure.

After doing that for both sides and reassembling it now seems to be calibrated and working properly without any horrible noises

I'll run bed in procedure when it's all sorted. Its actually a sport

given its an empty system it'll be a standard gap iidtool bleed

i was wondering though when it asks to pump the pedal, if a power bleeder will do? Its actually a sport

shes up and around after the brake bleed

was a bit of race against time since bleeding via gap needs battery and mine wasn't fully charged so it died a few times and had to restart the process.

i ended up not using the power bleeder when bleeding via gap then going around and doing the normal bleed, not much air came out in this bleed which one would assume the gap bleed did a good job.

would be handy if i could just purge for example front left via gap rather than the entire process but ah wells.

one of the bleed nipples was actually so blocked with salt i had to drill the salt out once i removed the nipple.

the backend feels amazing, no knocks or anything, now looking at the crusty front end am thinking maybe time to do that as well but i think id rather just enjoy the car again, its been a few months off the road.

got some AT3s coming friday, she needs a full wheel alignment and the wheels need a full blast and respray.
