We did drive down a couple of years ago in the 5.0 S/C it's a 3,100 mile round trip, with fuel (even in the 4.4) ferry, tolls etc it's significantly more expensive than flying, we have a car parked at the airport so it's just so much easier, door to door in around 5 hours, down to the beach and have a beer...

Decided to sort out a few issues under the bonnet, the worse being the foam seals from the air intake in the top of the wings and into the bonnet... the mice had a go at it before I bought it, probably during Covid. They were also badly split. They are not handed they just fit the other way up
