Need to replace my front right parking sensor.

I can get access through the wheel arch liner, but it didnt seem to want to come out! I tried removing it from the front of the car and then pushing it backwards towards the engine/

I didnt go mad as I didnt want to break anything!

Any pointers?

It should be clipped into the holder that’s bonded to the inside of the bumper, therefore removing requires pressing from the outside inwards, you may need to prise the lugs of the holder open slightly to allow it to be pushed through  Jonathan

As JCW says above, the sensors push inwards BUT... DONT push too hard as the holders are not stuck on very firmly! You need to push the two locking tabs outwards first...

Related to this, my Front Offside sensor appears to have been pushed in at some point. Didn't notice when as I've been suffering from the dreaded switch LED short to battery so the system has been inoperatve for a while. Fixed it by cobbling a LED directly to leads form the module. I'll have a look from inside the wheelarch liner but if the holder on the bumper cover is detached is there any advice for repair? 2011c Vogue SE 4.4 Oil Burner
