Scarey you were right I was trying the wrong key. Seller gave me two I thought they were the same but they were not...... |

depends how competent mechanic you are..i gather you would have to remove the bumper first then ,with help, offer up the armature and bolt on.. |

I had my towbar off a couple of weeks ago, simple enough job.

I did mine yesterday. The bolts holding the bumper support on are tight so you'll need a longish bar to get good leverage, or an air tool. The rearmost mount bolts are recessed so you'll need an extension bar as well. To manage the weight of the armature, just use a trolley jack in the middle to lift it into place. This makes positioning it very easy and a one man job. I also supported the exhaust with a small bottle jack and wooden block to stop it dropping down and stressing joints further back. |
