It fits adjacent to the still with the widest part at the bottom. I can’t remember exactly how. It’s purpose is to prevent mud & road silt from accumulating in the wheel arch, holding moisture and so causing corrosion. TDV8 4.4 2012 |

Cheers, I tried that, couldn't quite work out orientation but found a spot for it. Need to go in the other side soon so will try to carefully remove! |

These often become soaked with road debris … the part number should be in the manuals provided here. If not you can get from dealer … I changed out all of these on a Volvo XC 70 I had … great piece of mind afterwards … ( I know …. Sick right !) |

I recently renewed the crumbly ones at the rear of the bonnet and wing. They are there for a reason. |
