I took the internal D pillar trim out today. Wet inside as per pics. Looks like I put the tailgate aperture "boot" seal back on badly when I took it off this summer to replace the parcel shelf spring clip which was broken and meant the parcel shelf used to squeak.

Excellent!. If you look up that drip will: a) be coming from the soft black padding at the bottom of the interior D-pillar trim. b) be going from the black plastic unit to where the Parking Aid Module should be located. This is very likely the water path which your 2 or 3 parking modules!.. I have not yet identified the water ingress point - still at work with silicon. I think it might be the top corner of the Tailgate Aperture (/Boot) Seal, but not yet conclusively proven. Does anyone know if there are any holes or potential ingress points under the Roof Rack trim covers? I removed and replaced mine 4 years ago and I cant remember. 2012 L322 4.4 TDV8 AB low mileage - a peach 1986 V8 Defender 90 County ex-Swiss Army - Red everything.... I just pushed a plastic sheet into the gap between the body and plastic grill and it seemed to stay there without any adhesive. It’s raining heavily tonight so will inspect tomorrow when it stops. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

Additional - while the Park Assist Module was damp inside - it fried the reverse speaker (sits on the back of the aluminum brar on the right hand side of the boot and which emits the beeping).
