Cant get my 13 pin plug out

I can't get my bike rack of the car because the 13 pin plug won't release, I've done a search and cant find anything so I'll cast the net wide and see if anyone has had similar problems, more importantly how did they fix it and get the plug out. Geoff

I've had the rack a few years with no problems, I think I understand what you are saying by just twisting the neck as I tend to twist the whole plug, will give it a try if it ever stops raining. Geoff

Brute force worked. Will check alignment etc before using again. Geoff

United Kingdom

Have a 13pin adaptor on my motor for the caravan which has two seven pins.
My adaptor got stuck recently, on site.
Some guy came over watching me use brute force to remove it!!
He offered to put some silicone grease on the fitting.. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Worked wonders smooth as you like now.

Bought some myself, put it on all the rubbers seals around the caravan, and on the car now.
No Smelly odours. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Works a treat.
Cheap as chips off Amazon, around 5/6 quid a tube.
