Oh that bit.........

the two terminals (no.2)on the box are for positive and negative to power it up. - it doesn't matter which way round you put them

the next block of three (No 3)the middle one is earth & the left one is to the cable in the gearbox (see Matts video)

the third block of three (No 4)the middle one is earth & the left one is to the cable in the gearbox (see Matts video)

if you get up is down and down is up just swap the two left wires in No 3 & No4

You now have 3 earth wires that need to be connected to the cigarette lighter earth
The positive in the middle of the lighter can be used for the power feed. 5.0 supercharged autobiography

you will need a ignition feed for the receiver and not power from the cig lighter as this is a permanent feed otherwise you will end up with posh paddles but a flat battery

Request for Matt/ Dave

Any Chance of getting another set of paddles, remote system and photographing each part, at each stage of modification?

I am even will to pay for it as I can then uses them on my V8 54 plate motor.

This would then allow clear indication and pics for others to follow easily?

I would like this on my motor and know others even with the TD6 version would probably like it too.

even a rough wiring diagram would be benificial.......

I MUST SAY GREAT WORK!!!! to Matt Dave for this excellent work again!!!

Rob Bow down Bow down Bow down Thumbs Up

I did the wireless method using a maplin 2 channel gizmo.
Changing the paddle board is a bit of a nightmare and I gave up building a bridge as Matt sugested.(too small for this old man to see!)
It's far easier to connect a short piece of wire from the blue (or grey wire) to the corner of the button and just unsolder the 2 small resistors.

On the back of the TX as you turn it over:
left button
Left solder point = common
Right solder point = NC

Right button
Top left solder point =common
Bottom right solder point = NC
This info will make sense when you've got the bits

Apart from that a very satisfying mod all thanks to Matt!

After messing about today (cos it's Tuesday and I can Very Happy ) I found that one wire is'nt needed.

On the back of the TX as you turn it over:
left button
Left solder point = common No connection needed
Right solder point = NC 5.0 supercharged autobiography
