Halford 'OAT' coolant

I have had the low coolant light come on on a cold start this morning and not show when the engine is warm.
Assuming it only wants topping up when the engine is cold, I wonder if the Halfords 'OAT' coolant would be suitable.
Cannot find Havoline XLC locally to Newark

Thanks, I've since found some 'Comma" brand at a local factors and it says in the description it's suitable for the L405 engine.

Probably end up on Amazon for the Havoline XLC just to be safe.

You could just top it up with water initially. That wouldn't make much difference to the dilution factor of the coolant / antifreeze. V8 or else ...

I've got a lot of Halfords OAT in mine... I hope it's OK.

Likewise. To me, as long as you're not mixing the wrong type of coolant ( blue / green stuff ) into the system, then generally it should be fine. I cant think of anything particularly special about the 4.4 compared to other engines which use OAT ... at the end of the day its a ford block. I cant see Ford developing something outwith the normal envelopes of standard cooling fluids for domestic engines. V8 or else ...
