Losing about 500 mil coolant every month ,went on a trip 100mile ish ,little bit of smoke from under the bonnet when parked up , was told it could be the oil cooler .
Seems to lose more coolant if I drive with a heavy foot .
Any help would be great ,

Could be leaking from a number of places. If it's still under warranty just take it back to the dealer to sort out. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Thanks ,it’s one of the warranty type where they don’t like to pay out .
Had a lower ball joint knock and they wouldn’t pay ,had to pay myself.

No type of warranty will cover this as they will deem it to be wear and tear on a car this age. Get it to a specialist for a proper diagnosis. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Sounds pretty similar to what mine is doing,I’m booked in next week to have oil cooler checked as they apparently prone to leak in later years, there’s a pipe goes into rear of cooler which has a couple of little O rings that deteriorate over the years as does the internal rubber gasket inside the cooler it’s self, I only noticed the fault last week upon returning home from work ,I could smell the burning coolant ,as my drive is on an uphill slope I can only presume the leak fills the area cooler is in between the V and runs over the rear and onto bell housing hence the smell ??
If I remember I will post update next week when looked at
