Use correct spec. Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

C2 can be used if you can't get C1 and it's better than old oil contaminated with soot and diesel. While C1 is classed as 'low ash' that doesn't mean no ash and on an old DPF on a car with a lot of miles it's likley not a big issue esp if you get some C1 next service. C2 is still a low ash oil, but not as low as C1

Does your car have a DPF, also have a full read of the handbook if its a Spanish delivered and spec car. My 2007 3.6 Australian spec says 10w40 for hot climates. Australian 4.4`s don't have DPF`s. 2007 TDV8 VSE

The query is for a friend, but we have the same, 4.4 TDV8 with DPF and EGR originally a UK car. 2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Baltic Blue, Jet interior
