L405 Arm Rests are useless...

Totally a 1st world problem, I get it. But the arm rests on my 2016 L405 TD6 cannot be adjusted above the center console height. Is it just mine?!?!?

In my '06 L322, I can adjust them upward about 10-15Deg. On long drives the changing position helps keep things from getting 'stove up'. I crank the arm rests up as high as it will go and it is about even with the center console. With the smaller feeling cabin, I don't really need them, but it would be nice to regain that adjustability.

Anyone else have an opinion? 2006 L322 HSE LUX 4.4NA Jag V8 Buckingham Blue/Ivory - 'Col Reb'

I noticed that too in my new one. I thought it was a fault to be honest as you may as well use the cubby box than the armrest. __

Hmm. I find mine quite comfy to be honest and always flip it down as I'm driving off out of habit. But I do like quite a high diriving postion (I have my seat base quite high and raised) so maybe mine feel a lot higher than the cubby box because of that. If I lean on the cubby box, I would be leaning down to the left (in the UK Laughing ) FFRR SDV8 Autobiography

maybe that's the key then!

I'm tall so seat is not raised much. I also have a fairly straight back to the chair so that would affect the arm rest stop i guess.

My p38 allows far more adjustment though! __

Mine is OK, the only problem I encounter is that it seems to need winding up every time I drive but as I say other than that its fine. Geoff

I can't get on with mine. They have a rounded top, so my elbow falls down one side or the other! The P38 ones were wide and flat topped, and worked very well.

I am considering 3D printing something that clips on to rest my elbow on.
