Ahh okay so you just have one threshold for either 1=active and 2=passive, I was trying to be clever with two separate colours!

I just have mine both set at value 1, red below one, and green above one.
For interest, other values as follows:

Oil Temp: value 90 (deg. C) red below, green above.
Soot Trigger: red if abve 55, green when below 10
Exhaust Temps: red below 500, green above 500
Distance between regens: green above 190, red below 150 (warning regens may have been missed)
Avg. time between regens: no visual warnings.

I guess there’s no right or wrong way to set it up, but I’d be interested to learn from others what they do and why?  “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Super, have added some more formatting. Need to go and try it for real later (not just demo mode) and see if my Bluetooth OBD dongle works okay with it

No --just set the top threshold to 1, the actual value will show 0 when all is OK- Regen not happening, no alarm, it will show 1 passive Regen when the exhaust temp is greater than 250C ish value no alarm. When it changes to 2 then you get visual and/or sound alarm.

Right just had a first go at this for real, had to pop to my folks house which is about 15 mins of suburban/rural driving, pretty continuous, min 30 max 60 mph.

First of all I was surprised to see how high the soot level was and distance since last regen. If that's in metres it means my last regen was a long drive in France on holiday a couple of weeks ago. It looks like I'm well due an active regen.

I also noted my exhaust temps never really got above 180ish constantly. So I need to get those up a lot more. I was surprised how long it took to get the oil up to temperature. It was only half way back that it happened.

I have a long drive to Leeds tomorrow so I'll keep it running and hopefully all the parameters will be met for an active regen either going or returning.

you can change to miles by selecting sensor properties by going down to Default units and at the bottom select None this selects Default units as miles.

Also its worth upgrading to the Pro version has you get more selections etc and its a few £'s and 1 of these is soot in grams etc maybe also reason why you see meters? 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue

Bought the Pro version - just hadn't got around to it previously. Can't find the Units field for Sensor Properties yet but it's no great issue at the moment. Looking forward to seeing what happens tomorrow on a longer motorway journey

I did look to see if there was an AndroidAuto-compatible OBD app, seems there is one but it's useless. That would be really handy if Car Scanner Pro added that function  FFRR SDV8 Autobiography
