I also replaced the camera on my 2006 with an aftermarket camera. Quite a simple job to be honest you can just cut the cable going to the old camera and solder the wires to a new camera. It's no more complex than that. 2015 Range Rover Autobiography 4.4 SDV8 |

The later 2010-2012 cameras are different and very difficult to source |

The camera on my 2011 is exactly the same as my 2006 was, so not sure where that is from.

The Camera is not the same, if you go on line and look at replacement cameras they are only suitable for up to 2009 model year, it may look the same but it’s a different operating system so the camera need to be a different specification. Your 2006 camera will probably fit but it will not work 👍👍 |

I’m not saying you can’t do that but try finding an aftermarket camera that’s compatible with the 2010 to 2012 system that’s where the problems start 👍 |
