When you say hard reset do you mean disconnect the battery and touch the positive and negative together? |

Finally fixed the radio but sadly have lost traffic system TA alerts but not worried about that. Lost the iPod connection which was never used as didn’t work right. But now working radio. So basically the blue wire that feeds the radio was giving 0.34 volts so it was broken. Rerouted a new cable and a second fused adapter cable off fuse 49 (dual fused lead) And ran it to the radio. Don’t know how it happened but finally fixed yay. 😀 |

Hi Everyone. Opening up this thread rather than making ANOTHER one. I've done my research and investigated the issues, to no avail. I have noticed a bluetooth bypass has already been completed by the previous owner, the plug going into the bluetooth module has 2 corroded pins, this is now unplugged. I have red lights in all the optics. My radio display is on, I can choose different stations but I have no sound. Any ideas? Ive checked the fuses, disconnected the battery for 30 seconds. Silence.

On my 2007 FFRR, I'm dealing with the orange flashing light and frozen screen. I ordered a new 1m length of fiber optic cable. The red light goes into and out of the Bluetooth module, but it does not enter the radio module that's next in line - same symptom whether or not I use the MOST loop to bypass the BT module. The cable going into the radio module either has no red light or a very faint red light. So it seems the cable between the BT and radio units is bad. FWIW. |
