Have you removed the old filter? they have to clip in aparrantley so this is the correct one .

Yes I removed the old one. Good job I didn't drain the oil first. I found that the one that was sent to me did not clip in, and had a raised lip around the hole and was longer. |

OK so the only way to be sure is to buy a geniune one from Duckworths here and compare or even ask there advice , they are helpfully to us members. overfinch modified |

Amazon Mann HU 718/5X is the best filter you can buy for the 4.4 SDV8. It says pack size 2 but you only get 1. |

Reading what Suki said about the oil filter I,m now wondering why the one I posted above did not fit as it's the same part number .

I would say much stronger than Genuine the cords that go around the filter stop the filter from deforming keeping the oil path fully open. |
