Mine arrived yesterday and the fragrance upon initial application was pleasant, but nothing like the proper smell of leather. It's got an orangy tone to it and not dissimilar to other cleaning products that I've bought in the past. I sprayed it on the carpets and other fabrics in my FF and my leather upholstered Mini.

Went to both cars this morning, in the hope that it might have 'matured' overnight, but sadly no, in fact there's no difference to how the cars smelt yesterday morning.

Looks like I've got yet another ornament sitting on the shelf and a wasted debit on my bank account.

I hope others find it more satisfactory. 2017 SDV8 Autobiography

Back when I had the L322, someone offered me a bottle of Saphir neats foot oil.
I spread it only once over the grey seats and I don't know about restoring, but it softened the leather and the pleasant leather smell remained until I sold the car...
It is still available here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Saphir-Neatsfoot-...op?ie=UTF8

Good shout Adara, the horsey people (there might be a few on here) use this on saddles & bridles etc., it might be cheaper from a saddlery shop, although such places aren’t noted for bargains, lol!

Not used it myself other than for horse stuff, it certainly softens leather, indeed you have to be careful not to overdo it, I’d suggest not applying it directly to leather, but to a cloth or sponge sparingly. “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Better try out the scent before, if it's available in specialized shops...
