I’d suggest not applying it directly to leather, but to a cloth or sponge sparingly.

That's right, it came with a tiny brush and I remember I couldn't use the car for days until it dried...

One word of caution:

You’re not supposed to spray it directly ON the leather, only on carpets & fabrics!!

I use a old Gliptone card under the rear seat & just keep refreshing it from time to time Thumbs Up

I gave the seats their usual Gliptone treatment then stuffed the rag I had been using under the driver's seat. I must've brushed up against the ultra sensitive airbag wires because it took me 2 days to get the £!&&dy light out. Embarassed ......At least it still smells nice.

Came across this yesterday, just what I was looking for. However there were some dissenting voices amongst lots who said that they had ordered it. So of those new buyers, what is the verdict. As someone said, not another shelf ornament, got too many of those already. 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

@GrandadRob:

I could only find one dissenting voice (Recordman) above, unfortunately all of our noses aren’t the same, so I think although most have not complained, at the price say compared with the Gliptone product (which I rate for smell, but not value), it’s cheap enough to try for yourself?
Like anything perfume-related, “nasal memory” has an effect where the smell seems to vanish soon after you have been inhaling it for a while. I find this product does need weekly topping-up to maintain the smell, but then again you do get a decent amount of product for your money, so 250ml will last for many months, it’s also the question of what else is out there with the “right” smell at reasonable cost? “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Well Guys, the "real leather air freshner" arrived yesterday. I sprayed the carpets liberally yesterday and earlier today.
Accompanied by SWMBO, we went into the garage and opened the door.
The result was "nothing". Neither of us could smell anything..
I'll keep applying g for a few days, but it looks ,I've yet another shelf ornament.
I was warned......... 2013 SDV8 4.4 SE Luxor.

My 250ml has about run out after 6mths ish, so I will re-order another, and if it’s S Censored te, I will say so here.

I have no connection with the supplier whatsoever, other than being an almost satisfied customer… “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Hi Gremlin …….

This sounds like just the product I am looking for , however on trying to register on the site to order , the forms seem to be for trade accounts , not as individuals …. is there a way to register and order as an individual that I just cannot see … ( it’s not Friday and no bottle of red , just can’t see it!🤨)

Cheers,
T

OK... what am I doing wrong here

I followed the link in the first post, taking me to https://www.leatherrepaircompany.com/.

I can't find any 250ml bottle, there is only a 50ml bottle at £5.

Also, I only seem to be able to apply for a trade account or distributor account - given my ltd co in now shut down, I no longer have a VAT number or company registration number....

I really want this leather air freshener as well Big Cry Ash
