Water jet stopped coming out of rear wiper L322 2011

my rear wiper works fine, but the water jet nozzle is either blocked or something else is stopping the rear water wash working - I changed the fuse, no dice, and have also tried a needle in the nozzle, have tried an air blast from my compressor, but all to no avail - anything I have missed ?

Just a few suggestions:
Which fuse have you checked? I believe there are 2 water pumps for the washers with separate fuses. Fuse 43 is for the rear pump. Does the pump run (can you hear it running) when you press for the rear wash? There's a non-return valve in the water pipe just before the wiper motor, accessed from under the clip-on panel in the rear upper tailgate hatch, this may have become clogged or non-functioning. If you disconnect the pipe before the valve and run the washer, see if water comes out.

I had this issue. Pulled off the trim and replaced the non return valve but this may not be the issue with yours. Could be blocked in the motor, a failed pump in the reservoir, blocked jets etc. Not sure if the rear is heated either. If you pull off the hose before the non return valve you can start narrowing it down. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322)

Ditto,
It was the non return valve that was blocked in mine .
They don’t sell the valve as a separate piece at JLR so I bought one from a garden centre (3mm bore pipe) meant for plant irrigation system, but only cost pence and has lasted several years.

It happens regularly on my 2006 TDv8. Every time so far it's been the jets blocked by debris.

There's 2 jets, that should be pointing at different distances down the screen.
Careful "rodding" (lol) with a pin has always sorted it.
Try to find as large a pin as will will fit inside the holes in the brass jets.
You can use the same pin to re-align the jets if they're not pointing where they're useful.
The brass jet is a ball that is tightish fit in the plastic housing, but it can be rotated with the pin Paul,

Hi Mike, in another one of your posts, you measured it using a drill bit and it was 4mm dia, not 3 - could you confirm, thx Peter

It was definitely 4mm bore tubing, sorry I mistakenly said 3mm.

... and if it's not a blockage, it may be because the hose has come off and is just filling your tailgate with water.

Is it any wonder the tail gates rot from the inside out.

Would a failed non return valve manifest itself as taking ages for water to arrive at the jet and then continuing to spray after you release the stalk?

Thats how mine is currently behaving. ---------------------------------
