Heavy steering at low speeds...TD6

Morning,

All is going well with our new TD6 but I've noticed how heavy the steering is at low speed when, for instance, doing a 3 point turn. Anything below 10mph takes a lot of effort to turn the wheel.

Is this a ' feature' of the TD6? My previous 4.4 never had an issue - finger light steering at whatever speed. It's got a years LR warranty so if there is a problem Id like to get it sorted.

Sounds like you need the servotronic valve on the steering replaced

mine had the same symptoms, replaced the servotronic valve [£50/60] and problem now gone..

Yep sounds like servotronic valve, should absolutely be covered under warranty! 2008/58 FFRR 3.6 TDV8 Vogue
