I can't recommend a particular model but just avoid the cheap ones that use you spare tyre as a pressure source. If you have an air compressor in your workshop there are good ones that can use this. 2012 TDV8 Vogue (L322) |

At the risk of opening a whole new can of worms (which I’m good at) I VERY CAREFULLY AND NEATLY wrapped the nipple threads in PTFE tape, to act as a physical barrier between the dissimilar metals rather than to seal anything. The threads are outboard of the sealing cone, so the PTFE shouldn’t be able to get into the brake fluid anyway. You have to be careful only to tape the threads and nothing more. Has it worked? Dunno, maybe I’ll find out in a few years’ time “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that? |

They all opened albeit with a bit of a creak. Front ofs outboard didn’t have any flow so I’ll get a new nipple for that one. Although I might take it out and try and poke a bit of wire in it to see if there’s just a blockage. Pedal better but I suspect will be even better with that 4th nipple bled properly Dec 2021- 2010 Facelift TDV8 4.4 AB in Stornoway Grey. |

I can agree 100% - I got two 56g tubs, have used it on all our cars for bleed nipples and also used it sparingly on wheel studs ( the passenger side wheel nuts get a lot of exposure to our salty roads in the winter and now no rust on them, well the six cars I have looked at anyways) AMAZING STUFF !
