What difference has it made?

It's driving much smoother & quicker. None of the hesitation that was there previously

The DPF sensor. It's near the passenger footwell underneath.

Does changing the sensor make a difference: YES!

Model variants other than the original AA version have different base voltages so throw the readings out completely. In the world of Ford they are interchangeable but for our car they aren’t.
