It’s in the Wiki if it’s P040D code that you’re trying to get rid of on the diagnostic.

The codes I had were PO42D and PO40D and these were the sensor in the manifold and the sensor between the Cat and the DPF.

I you guys talking about P040D, dont call it DPF sensor. This temperature sensor not related to DPF at all. Its EGR inlet temp. sensor. According readings from this sensor EGR operate the flap inside it, send exhaust gas through heat exchanger or around it (bypass). |

Have you looked these up in the DTC folder (with many sub chapters to review) of the Workshop Manual? It's free via the Wiki page: https://www.fullfatrr.com/wiki/Main_Page Scroll to bottom P ones looks to be sensor and the U ones look cruise control module signal related. You could end up throwing the parts catalogue at it I charge nothing for my librarian skills Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory" 2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many, many other Landies over the years My preferred specialist: www.glenrands.co.uk -------------------------------------------------- |

Totally agree. The code the OP has found is not this sensor as you point out Gone to a good home: 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory" 2025MY Defender D350 90 in Silicon Silver on coils 1974 Series 3 Lightweight = "Millie" Many, many other Landies over the years My preferred specialist: www.glenrands.co.uk -------------------------------------------------- |

DrRob, Thanks for the links & suggestions. After reading the links I've found out how to reset the reading from the DPF after fitting the sensor! |
