Two things, firstly behind the pillar trim panel there’s a metal bar screwed to the body that the belt slides behind, this gets gunged up with fluff etc. Secondly, fully extend the belt and thoroughly clean with a solution of warm water and a hand wash washing powder, then allow to fully dry out whilst still fully extended - best left until the warmer weather returns. |

Take them out, wash them in a bucket of warm water & washing powder, sometimes it takes a couple of buckets, rinse in warm water then let dry naturally - not on a radiator. Obviously don't put the retractor in the bucket, use one of the food bag closers to stop the belt flying back in.

Wet dishcloth with warm water, run it up & down to remove any mange that maybe on the belts, thoroughly dry then spray Mr Sheen on both sides of the belt, it’ll then give you a blister as it rockets back into its housing😂😂 2012 Orkney Grey Westminster 4.4TDV8 with Ivory interior.........nice!
