Mine is the same Pete, definitely down to battery charge, only other problem I have which I am sure you do is getting out the way quick enough to avoid getting decapitated |

Maybe my battery is worse than yours as it doesn't move fast enough to hit anything....!!!

Maybe, everything else is great, however I get 'low battery start engine' warning when towing, and tailgate dicks about when button pressed, assume leisure battery in trailer drains it somewhat, otherwise fine |

Try it with a charger connected, if it's OK, you know it's voltage related. |

If you have a low current charger, that'd be best - it'll lift the voltage a bit but not so much that the motors operate entirely off the charger. If not, put the lights on to draw off some of the charger output. IIRC the 'low voltage - start engine' needs the voltage to be low for a period of time to stop transient current draw repeatedly triggering the message. |

I’m finding that mine shows similar idiosyncrasy as the OP. I don’t feel that my battery is low as it starts the engine very strongly. I think the seals at the side of the upper tailgate brush against the rear pillars slightly and that depending on the circumstances, its enough for the motor to sense an obstruction, so stops. I don’t think it takes much for the motors to sense obstruction, so even the slightest change in speed brings it below the threshold to stop. V8 or else ... |
